5th International Yog day was organised by Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, Katra at Shrine Board’s Sports Complex
In this event 300 sadaks representing educational institutions, social organisations, CRPF, J&K Police, members, Sr. Citizens forum, Civil administration, Shrine Board, Yatries & Sports persons actively participated. Programme began with lighting of ceremonial lamp by Sh. J.C. Mehra, Dy. CEO, Dr. Arvind Karwani, Dy. CEO, Shri Ashok Kumar Director Sports, SMVDSB & Shri Vivek Khajuria, ACF.
Sh. Dyal Ram, Yog Guru conducted 45 minutes programme. Sh. Sandeep Kumar officer second in command 6th bn CRPF, Shri Rakesh Wazir, President, Hotel & Restaurant Association, Katra, Shri Shiv Kumar Sharma former joint secy. Sports council and large number of persons of locality and adjoining areas also participated in the event.
